Your Risk. Your Needs. Our Focus.

Analyze, Consult, Engage. Check out how each of these steps works:

At Meyers Glaros Group, our priority has always been our client's individual and unique needs.
With that in mind, we developed the ACE Program to ensure that your business and employees get top-notch service and coverage.
There are three steps that make up this simple, yet effective, process:

Analyze

  • Understand you and your business. Our first meeting with you and your team is an information gathering session. We start by asking for a complete business overview to understand what makes the company successful and what challenges you may be having. We also do our homework before that first meeting by analyzing your website, social media channels and other business-related sources of information to determine what makes you tick.
  • Understand your goals for your benefits. Once we feel we understand your business, the information gathered is then balanced with a face-to-face meeting with your team to get a well-rounded sense of who you are and how you operate, both internally and externally. In that meeting, we dig even deeper to understand what your goals are for your employees and for your benefits program.
  • Understand how you comply with laws. In the analysis phase, we also work to get a feel for how your company handles the compliance side of the business. All of this gives us what we need to develop your new program. And it doesn’t stop there because we continue to work with your team to ensure you have what you need from us every step of the way. Our desire is to be your long-term partner, helping you grow, both internally and externally, and protecting one of your company’s most important assets – your employees’ health.

Consult

  • Review how you compare to your competition. We start with a competitive analysis to give you a sense of where your company stands in relation to your competition.
  • Review gaps in your compliance. In the consulting phase, we also review the very important compliance issues of Health Reform and what you need to consider for the following year.
  • Review your options for your benefits now and in the future. And last but not least, we review the company’s current and possible options for all employee benefits that your company is offering and do the work needed to help you make educated decisions about adjusting benefits for the coming year. The information and solutions we develop in the consulting phase allow you to make informed, educated decisions about what is best for your business moving forward. It is at this point that we engage the appropriate vendors and instructors to assist you in structuring your program.

Engage

  • Implement changes to your benefits programs. With the consulting phase completed, now it’s time to get moving. Once we have developed a program tailored to your business needs, we begin the process of developing policies and procedures to manage your benefits program.
  • Implement processes and procedures tailored to your needs. It is our goal to be an extension of your business and a resource for you to use as you need, which for some of our clients is daily. With this in mind, we work hand in hand with your team to coordinate insurance related tasks and duties. We handle everything for you from open enrollment document development to employee meetings and compliance.
  • Implement assistance programs for claim issues. And it doesn’t stop there because we actually advocate for your employees with claims issues and assist them wherever we can add value. After all, we are an integral part of your team.
  • Implement regular meeting with HR team or executive team. In addition to our daily communications and milestone meetings throughout the year to ensure everything is operating efficiently, we meet with your team regularly (in some cases weekly if needed) to review your program and make necessary changes. It is our job to protect you and your employees and we take that job seriously.
  • We know that the health and well-being of your employees is a top priority. Meyers Glaros Group works with you and your company to develop group medical plans designed to meet your employees’ and their families’ needs while at the same time keeping your corporate goals in mind. We offer both small group (2-50 employees) and large group (51+ employees) plans. Let our dedicated group medical team provide you with a complimentary, professional review of your coverage.

  • At Meyers Glaros Group, we want your group dental plan to put a smile on your face. Our dental insurance plans focus on prevention, early diagnosis and treatment. Our experienced team works with your company to develop a plan based around your employees’ needs and we don’t overlook important plan information such as deductibles and required waiting periods. Because of the variety of dental plans out there, you can rely on us to assist you in obtaining the best policy to meet your company’s needs and budget.

  • Often overlooked or undervalued, a good group vision care plan can help protect not only the vision but also the overall health of your workforce. Regular eye exams can help your employees see clearly and help detect serious conditions early. Because of the variety of vision plans out there, you can rely on us to assist you in obtaining the best policy to meet your company’s needs and budget.

  • Protect yourself with plans that take the financial worry out of the unexpected. Disability insurance protects your employees against the unexpected. Whether it is short term or long term, our disability insurance team is trained and knowledgeable about the specifics involved in this important coverage and can walk you through what you need specifically for your company, now and as it grows.

  • You can’t put a price tag on knowing that your loved ones are taken care of properly. We recognize that group life insurance is often provided by companies as a part of a complete employee benefits package. In most cases, the cost of the group coverage is far less than individuals would pay for a similar amount of individual protection. This inexpensive life insurance option is worthwhile – especially if your employees have no other life insurance or if their personal coverage is inadequate. Our specially trained staff will help you set up policies tailored to your company’s dynamic staffing structure and help you leverage that coverage as a benefit of employment with your company.

  • Worksite Marketing Coverage, also known as Voluntary Coverage, is any type of additional benefit that is added to your company’s menu of benefit options. These coverages can be offered as company-paid benefits, employee-paid benefits or as a combination. At Meyers Glaros Group, our specialized team’s understanding of all of the voluntary coverage products available is critical in setting up a plan that meets your employees’ needs and at the same time achieves your company’s benefit goals.

There are three steps that make up this simple, yet effective, process:

Analyze

  • Familiarize our team with you and your business. Our first meeting with you and your team is an information gathering session. In fact, we begin learning about your business even before that initial meeting by researching what makes you tick. We review your website, assessor sites, secretary of state sites and other business-related sources of information to determine what makes up your business and make you successful.
  • Determine your needs, goals and appetite for risk. After getting to know you and your business, we meet with your team to get a sense of who you are and how you operate. With all of that information in hand, we determine your needs in order to develop a program for your business that best fits your goals and appetite for financial risk, as well as protects your company assets.
  • Understand your contractual obligations.Once we’ve determined your needs and goals, we work with you to understand your contractual obligations and to assess you needs to control costs and operate more efficiently and profitably. Our desire is to be your long-term partner, helping you to grow and protecting your company assets along the way.

Consult

  • Review best balance of coverage and cost for your business. With our analysis complete, we begin the process of consulting – first with our insurance company partners to determine the best balance of coverage and cost for your business. As an Independent Insurance Agency, we represent multiple companies with access to hundreds of carriers, which translates to more choices for your company. This allows us to better search the market for the best prices and products to fit your company’s unique needs.
  • Review gaps in your coverage. During the consulting phase, we also identify any gaps in your coverage, uncover business needs that are not being met, and explore ways to minimize your risk.
  • Review your options for coverage now and in the future. Once information has been reviewed and gaps in your coverage have been identified, we use the information and solutions we develop in the consulting phase to help you make informed, educated decisions about what is best for your business moving forward.

Engage

  • Implement a tailored program for your business needs. Now it’s time to get moving. Once we have developed a program tailored to your business needs, we begin the process of developing policies and procedures to manage day-to-day business. It is our goal to be an extension of your business and a resource for you to use as you need, which for some of our clients is daily.
  • Introduce your team to our designated service providers. We have determined that it is important for our teams to work together as one. With this in mind, we introduce our team to yours to coordinate insurance related tasks and duties. We review specifications in contracts and lease agreements, as well as ensure all insurance provisions are being addressed. Quite often, there are costs associated with some requirements and our knowledge of the financial impact helps us protect your company’s bottom line.
  • Coordinate future meeting needs and reviews. In addition to our daily communications and milestone meetings throughout the year to ensure everything is operating efficiently, we meet with your team annually to review your coverage and make necessary changes. It is our job to protect your assets and we take that job seriously.

  • Unfortunately, workplace injuries happen. Each State’s workers compensation act spells out statutory liability requirements for businesses,. Workers’ compensation policies are designed to cover the obligations spelled out in that act. Don’t try to navigate workers compensation alone.

  • Do your individual primary insurance policies provide enough coverage for your business? A commercial umbrella policy is designed to provide another layer of protection above your underlying policies. We assist you in determining an appropriate limit for your business.

  • This increasingly utilized coverage – also known as employment-related practices liability, management risk protection, employers E&O and Americans with Disabilities Act insurance – is designed to defend claims involving sexual harassment, wrongful termination and discrimination. Most employment practices liability claims revolve around a company’s hiring and firing practices. The best defense against them is to know the law in your state and have company policies and procedures in place that meet or exceed legal standards.

  • Does your business have a board of directors? Do you serve on a board of directors on behalf of your company? If you answered yes to either question, you are a candidate for directors and officers insurance, which is designed to cover the members of the board from legal actions against them.

  • Now it’s time to get moving. Once you have decided on a program that best fits your needs, we do all of the legwork needed to set up your coverage. And it doesn’t end there. We continue to work with you throughout the year as your needs change. All risks have different needs and we are here to provide you with the proper advice and counsel needed to protect you and manage your assets.
  • Introduce you to your service team. Throughout this process, know that you are not alone. You will be introduced to your service team who will look out for you and review your account annually to keep an eye on cost. We also make ourselves available throughout the policy year to review your coverage and make adjustments based on any changes you’ve made in the year. This helps ensure that everything is accounted for during the year. It is our job to protect you and your assets and we take that job seriously.
  • Insuring your recreational vehicles is not much different than insuring your car, but you can have a problem if you do not have the correct endorsements. Most auto policies do not cover attached accessories such as awnings and antennas, personal items carried in the vehicle or liability when the vehicle is parked and being used as a residence. Let us help you make sure your needs are covered.

  • Most homeowners don’t really know what their coverage includes. To further complicate the issue, coverage needs change depending on the type of home you own. A basic policy will provide coverage for your dwelling, personal property and additional living expenses should you be forced out your home due to a covered loss. But most policies limit coverage for things like jewelry, furs, guns and other collectibles like fine art, antiques, stamps and coins. Let our experts help you ensure that ALL of your precious belongings are covered.

  • Many renters are under the misconception that they do not need insurance because they do not own the property. The property owner’s insurance will cover a renter’s belongings, right? WRONG! Most insurance policies carried by property owners are for their protection and offer little to no coverage for renters.

  • Whether you drive a new, used or classic car or truck, our team can find the right coverage for you. Most auto policies usually include bodily injury, property damage and uninsured/underinsured coverage. But did you know that a variety of additional options – such as collision coverage, roadside assistance and rental car reimbursement – are also available to you? Let our auto experts find the right coverage for you.

  • Do your individual insurance policies – like home, auto, personal liability, etc. – provide enough coverage for you? An umbrella policy is designed to provide another layer of coverage over and above your underlying policies.

  • If you own a boat, or other watercraft like a jet ski, you need insurance specifically for that type of vehicle. Most homeowner’s policies will offer liability coverage for small and low-powered boats but not always. So how do you know if you are covered? Let us help.

  • You never know what life will bring. If you are the main support of your family, you need to ensure that your family can continue to count on you when you no longer here to care for them. However, navigating just how much coverage you require and the type of policies that best fit your needs are not easy tasks. You are not alone – let one of our experts help you make these life-changing decisions.

  • As you know, you can never take your good health for granted. Your family is counting on you even when you are injured , ill or become disabled. Our health insurance products include the full range of services from individual health insurance policies to long-term care and disability.

  • While most homeowners policies provide a limited amount of coverage for things like jewelry, furs, guns and other collectibles like fine art, antiques, stamps and coins. It may not be enough, items can be specifically scheduled to provide the proper amount of coverage. Let our experts help you ensure that ALL of your precious belongings are covered.
