Individual Health
At HIA Insurance, we work with you to ensure that you choose the insurance companies and products that are right for you.
Individual Health Insurance can be classified into two groups:
- Under age 65
- Age 65 and over
HIA Insurance is an Independent Insurance Agency representing multiple companies, which allows us to do the shopping for you.
Individual Health Insurance for those under age 65 can cover one person or all the members of a family under one policy. The policy typically provides coverage for:
- Medicine
- Visits to the doctor
- Emergency room
- Hospital stays
- And other medical expenses
Available coverage:
- Full Benefit Major Medical Plans (PPO)
- Economy Benefit Major Medical Plans (PPO)
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
- Short Term Medical Plans
Individual Health Insurance for those 65 and over cover only one person. The coverage is available after an individual enrolls in Medicare Part A and Part B. Coverage is available to those under 65, if they are disabled and are enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B.
Available coverage:
- Original Medicare Supplement Plans
- Part D Prescription Drug Plans (PDP)
- Medicare Advantage Plans
Policies can differ in the size of the deductible, co-payments, limits of coverage and the options for treatments available to the policyholder. For these reasons, individuals often rely on an insurance professional to assist in obtaining the best policy to meet their needs and budget. So give us a call today for a professional review of your insurance.
